Adding New Staff
All teachers will be added to MINTclass when the system is installed. However, you will need to add support staff if you need them to have access to MINTclass.
Manually Adding Staff
Login is as an Admin user and click on Cortex

Now click on staff admin. You can check to see if a user already has an account by searching for their name at the top of the screen, If no account exists for that user then click on the Manually Add Staff button. You may need to scroll down to the bottom of the screen).

You will now see a pop up similar to the Edit user pop up.

- Add the users' Name, this will be used to search for a user and is also displayed in the top left-hand corner of the MINTclass screen.
- Enter in their email too, you need to make sure this is correct as you'll need to send them out an activation email to allow them to log in (if you don't use SSO!).
- You can leave the MISID blank (this is used by us to link a teacher to a timetable)
- Then select a User Level (for more information on User levels, please click here).
- Click on Save.
You will now need to activate the account by clicking on the middle icon under the tools section.
