If you are not using MINTclass aspect mapping to pull your grades automatically you have the option to upload these manually.

Please login into your schools MINTclass, Click on Cortex then add /upload to the URL.  For example https://MYSCHOOL.mintclass.com/cortex/upload

If you have had data previously upload by MINTclass or yourself, you can download the last successful upload to ensure that the data you wish to upload is in exactly the correct format.  Alternatively, you can request a copy of our CSV upload template by emailing support@mintclass.com.

To download the last successfully uploaded file scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the icon displayed below.

 

It's very important that the columns in this file remain in this order with the exact names, or MINTclass will be unable to properly add the data.

Click on Browse and locate the file you wish to upload then select Grades - CSV Upload from the drop-down box. Please note:  your list will be different to the one in the screenshot so please select the appropriate choice.

 

You then need to click on upload file for testing as this will show any errors such as incorrect subject names.

When uploaded, you should see “test-ok” and a yellow triangle:

 

If you see Test OK then click on the yellow triangle, this will run the file and get the data into the database.  If you see any other messages click on the 1st icon (has a magnifying glass) this will show you what the error is.  For example, if MINTclass cannot find a subject etc.

If test-ok changes to “action-ok”, you just have successfully uploaded data into MINTclass

If you have any problems, for example, if the Status is not ‘Test-Ok’ or you do not understand the error message please contact support with as much information as possible and ensure that the subject line of the email says  CSV Grades upload issue.
