Lesson One - Logging In and Help
The first thing you will need to login, is your school's individual web address to enable you to locate and open MINTclass. The person responsible for MINTclass at your school will be able to tell you what yours is. For the purpose of these documents we will us this URL: demo.mintclass.com

Please note, there is no 'WWW.' at the beginning of the web address.

The next thing you will need is your username and password. Again, these will be given to you by the person responsible for MINTclass in your school. Your username is typically your school teacher code which will probably be your initials.

Open your internet browser and type your URL. For the purpose of these lessons we will use ‘demo’ as our school name.

You should see the same as the screenshot below:

Enter your username and password and click on ‘Sign In’. The first time you login to MINTclass you will be asked to change your password for security reasons. When you sign in from a new place, for example at home rather than school, you will be asked for your secret password. This is an additional level of security.

You should now be logged in and able to see the class for your lesson. This may be blank, as above, or you may have students allocated to desks, dependant on what your administrator has set up previous to your initial login.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password at any time by clicking on the Admin tab in the top left of the screen, you will then have to complete the three boxes and click on ‘Change Password’.
