Lesson Four- Staff Delete & Student Cleanup
Bulk Staff Deletion
In MINTclass, you can delete multiple Staff Members at one time.
Go to Cortex and then click on the Staff tab in the top left.
You will now see all of your staff members that are in MINTclass. To delete multiple members of staff, click in the tickbox to the far left of all the staff you wish to delete.
Once you have selected all the correct staff members, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the 'Delete Selected Staff' button.
You can also delete all of your dormant staff accounts at once by using the 'Select All Dormant Account Option' at the bottom of the screen.
This will select all the dormant accounts from the list of staff and you can then delete them in bulk by clicking the 'Delete All Selcted Staff' button as seen above.
Please note, that if the staff members have not been removed from SIMS correctly, they will reappear in MINTclass after the overnight extraction.
Student Cleanup
When your students who have left, have been removed or have passed their leaving date in SIMS, they will be removed from all their relevant classes in MINTclass. However, they will not be removed from MINTclass completely.
To remove them, go to Cortex and then click on the Misc tab. At the bottom of the list in the sidebar, you will see Cleanup.
Here, you will see a list of students who have left. To remove them, click the Select All tickbox and then click on Remove Selected.
