Lesson One - Logging In and Help
You will have received an email from us with your login details.

There are 2 main login screens in MINTclass. The screen on the left shows that your school uses your school email address and a password (you will receive this in the email along with a link to your school's URL). The screen on the right shows that your school will use your Active Directory credentials.

You should see the same as the screenshot below:

Enter your username and password and click on ‘Sign In’. The first time you log into MINTclass you will be asked to change your password and set up 2FA for security reasons. You will then be asked to confirm your email address.

Enter the first part of your email address if it is not there and then click on 'Continue to Next Step'. You will now be asked to change your password. The password strength has been set by your school so if you are having difficulties please ask the person responsible for MINTclass in school for help.

Creating a safe password need not be complicated, try a combination of words. For example, I have a cup a pen a clock and a pad on my desk so try CupPadClockPen. Once you have a password that is strong enough you will, be asked to re-type it and click on Set Password.

The next step is to select how you wish to use the new 2FA (2 factor authentication).  This allows for an additional level of security and replaces the Secret answer which a lot of people found complicated.

Depending on which 2FA choices your school has made will depend on what you will see on this screen.

Select the 2FA that you wish to use and follow the on-screen instructions.  For more information please click HERE.

You are now logged into MINTclass.

You should now be logged in and able to see the class for your lesson. This may be blank, as above, or you may have students allocated to desks, dependant on what your administrator has set up previous to your initial login.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password at any time by clicking on your name in the top left-hand corner of the screen to open the Staff Dashboard.
