Setting up your WAR Board
Login as an Admin user and go to 'SeatPlanner'.

Setting up your WAR Board
Login as an Admin user and go to 'SeatPlanner'.
You will need to create a Template large enough to accommodate all the required students. For the purpose of this document, we will create a template for 144 students.
Click on the Templates tab and then click on Create New.
Select the Room Type as 12x12 - Standard. (If this Template does not exist, please contact the Support team who will import it for you).
Click on the Templates tab and then click on Create New.

Give the Template a name, e.g. War Board and click Next.
Now double click each square until you have created enough seats for all of your students.
When done, click on the Back button in the top left hand corner of the screen below your name. (Do not use the back button in the browser).
click into Group, located on the Overview tab to the right of Lessons.
Click Create New Group, enter a Group Name and an optional Description.
Click on Create Group.
Click on Change Template and then select your WAR Board template from the list.

Now you need to add the students to the WAR Board.
Click on Manually Add Students on the left and this will take you straight to the Search screen.

Select your Search criteria from the drop downs, e.g. Year 11 and then click Run Basic Search. Alternatively, you can perform an Advanced Search by clicking on Advanced Search and selecting the relevant criteria and clicking on Search.
You will now have your selected students on the left hand side of your screen which you need to save to the new group. Click on Search results > Group Show/Hide.
Then select the new group from the Add to Existing Group combination box.
You can now add the students to your WAR Board using either the manually add or auto add options that you use in a normal seating plan.
Now your WAR Board is complete and you can use it however you wish.
